Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Mechanic to initiate line/equipment tooling requirements for new products, install, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery, and maintain preventive maintenance programs. This role requires an advanced understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, the ability to develop skills to meet change over standards, and the capability to set up filling and assembly equipment. Responsibilities also include managing material usage to maintain scrap levels at or below standards, adjusting process equipment, and loading components during startup. Candidates must be trained and certified to make adjustments/repairs in electrical panels as defined in electrical Safe Practices for Mechanics and comply with company policies regarding GMP, good housekeeping, and safety regulations.
Hard Skills
Advanced understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to operate shop equipment (excluding CNC)
Certified for adjustments/repairs in electrical panels
Experience with filling & mixing equipment like kettles, agitators, motors, metering, presses, solenoid, HVAC
Soft Skills
Ability to develop necessary skills
Compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities
