About this role

The SIOP Demand Planning leader will have oversight of the regional Consensus Demand Plan for the assigned BU / segment. This role will oversee the regional demand planning process and provide strategic direction to continuously enhance demand planning capabilities.

This role will be responsible for demand planning for the North America Truck Trailer (NATT) segment of the Refrigeration BU.

This opportunity is available for candidates looking to work from either Athens, GA or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial Leaders to develop an 18-month consensus demand plan for assigned Business Unit through the monthly SIOP cycle.

  • Partner with stakeholders across teams to capture all inputs to the demand plan and to ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.

  • Integrate firm backlog, order pipeline, bookings forecast, statistical forecasting, portfolio management, NPI, market intelligence and other product demand signals to create a consensus demand forecast.

  • Coordinates cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecast.

  • Analyze performance and metrics to identify causes of forecast error and bias and develop and implement plans to correct errors

  • Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and customer behavior

  • Develop plan to capture opportunities and identified demand changes

  • Collaborate with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals. Ensure alignment between revenue and demand plans.

  • Understand the drivers of demand changes, customers, and revenue impacts and potential effects on the downstream processes.

  • Lead the SIOP Demand Reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.

  • Create the SIOP Demand Review minutes, communicate key conclusion to stakeholders and perform follow up of the actions.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance the demand planning and forecasting process capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain (SIOP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Working knowledge of S&OE and S&OP with implementation experience

  • MBA or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent

  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with demand planning tools

  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
