JPMorgan Chase Product Solutions Architect-Payments-Vice President in Palo Alto, California

As a leader in solutioning, collaborate closely with the Sales teams to deliver tailor-made product solutions that meet clients' needs. Leverage your problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive customer-centric strategies.

As a Product Solutions Manager in JPMorgan Payments, you are an integral part of a team that defines and configures complex solutions for key client relationships and prospect opportunities in partnership with Sales. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer by understanding their needs and communicating feedback to the Product teams.

As a member of the team, you will have a major impact on our future success by partnering with our sales team. The Solutions Architect works closely with prospects and existing JPMC's clients who want to grow their businesses by using JPMC's Merchant Acquiring solutions. The Solutions Architect is a business and technical expert who can position and articulate JPMC's value proposition and demonstrate product specific solutions during sales cycles, in order to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory. You will be required to participate in a structured, collaborative training specific to the JPMC's technology stack, industry, and pre-sales motions that will provide you the opportunity to build technical and soft skills and pursue diverse career paths.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads solutioning and the adoption of existing and upcoming client-facing products and capabilities while defining and configuring optimal solutions that address clients' needs and objectives

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on a defined set of products and capabilities with a deep understanding of our clients' needs and current industry trends

  • Supports Sales in pricing, pipeline planning, account planning, and upskilling the team on product knowledge by collaborating on training and collateral materials

  • Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap

  • Partner with sales as the technical and payments domain expertof a client-facing team, including contributing to RFI/RFP responses.; Lead discovery meetings to understand user's business priorities, their challenges and prescribe solutions that will solve their most pressing needs.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and existing architecture to assess how JPMorgan Payments can be best positioned to win the Users business; Build relationships with key decision makers, business owners and founders rapidly

  • Demonstrate JPMorgan Payments end-to-end solutions to our future and current users to showcase JPMorgan's unique business value and differentiators; Answer product features and technical questions from customers.

  • Clearly differentiate JPMorgan Payments products and services as well as provide user references to highlight JPMorgan's value add to their business

  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements thatcanaddress customer needs and provide additional value.

  • Shareand learnbest practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Architects to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team.

  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation; Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in problem-solving across multiple teams and a cluster of products

  • Extensive experience working in a sales cycle and engaging with clients on a regular basis

  • Experience modifying preconfigured solutions to meet complex problems

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed and complex organization

  • Work experience in technical/business consulting, software engineering, sales/pre-sales. Experience of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a bonus.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Able to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate products virtually and in person

  • Be able to work with users to solve challenging problems, and simplify/explain hard, complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Curious, self-starter who likes to be challenged and deal with ambiguity and willing to learn new technologies and business processes

  • Highly motivated and optimistic, organized and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language like Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++ or the interest to learn a programming language is a bonus.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Information Systems(BIS), Information Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent with an ability to learn technical concepts quickly (other majors, i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc welcome to apply).
