New vacancy: Executive Assistant

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SVP and VP Landing Gear in managing their daily agendas. These agendas can be complex, so we are looking for someone who can handle multiple priorities, work with tight deadlines, and consistently perform at a high energy level.

What you'll do

As an Executive Assistant, your core responsibilities include:

  • Point of Contact: act as the first point of contact for the SVP and VP Landing Gear, manage agendas proactively, using your own initiative and making decisions on priorities.

  • Meeting Organization: schedule and prepare meetings, ensure smooth facilitation (e.g. setting agendas, catering, logistics, equipment), and follow up on action items. discussions, and appointments.

  • Travel Planning: organize and coordinate business trips with GKN companies and agencies to be visited, incl. travel schedules, hotel bookings, transportation, and external arrangements.

  • Correspondence Management: draft and manage both internal and external communication in English and Dutch, either independently or following guidelines, incl. editing and proofreading documents and presentations.

  • Administrative Support: manage invoices, declarations, payments, time registration, and filing tasks.

Fokker Landing Gear

Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker Aerospace, is a recognized specialist in landing gear and related systems. We focus on the design and development, production and assembly of complete landing gears, as well as the repair and reassembly of systems already in use. In doing so, we work on the most famous aircraft and helicopters; think of the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 and the multipurpose NH90 maritime combat helicopter.

What you'll offer

  • Full-time availability with prior experience in administrative roles.

  • Decision-making and problem solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong organizational awareness, planning and coordination abilities.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle schedule changes and last-minute demands.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

  • Able to work full-time in the office; upon discussion with the manager, there is the option to work remotely one day per week.

  • A gross monthly salary up to € 3.603,- and 5.229,- based on the CLA Metalektro and in line with your experience and qualifications,
