Coordinates daily operations of a transportation/courier network
- Monitors transportation costs, service levels agreements, performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies
- Responsible for Routing, Planning, Development, & Invoice Analysis
- Responsible for updating safer & U.C.R. biannual for SDC DOT#
- Responsible for courier on time performance and evaluation
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training new drivers
- Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees and discipling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Must be available 24/7 days to take calls
- Responsible for price negotiations
- Investigates customers complaints involving such matters as misplaced items, damaged items, delays in shipments, and makes necessary adjustments
