What we’ve got going on: Aladdin Client Business

The Aladdin Business Development group is responsible for developing new client relationships for the Aladdin Business at BlackRock. This includes understanding the requirements of prospective client organizations and leading consultative sales processes that demonstrate and highlight the value of Aladdin to the specific prospect organizations. Business Development professionals must have a solid understanding of Aladdin functionality and workflows and ability to think creatively to match up prospect requirements with Aladdin capabilities.

You have spent the last 5+ years in a complex and consultative client facing role and have a passion for the Investment Management industry with a proven track record of success and exceeding revenue targets

You are knowledgeable on one or more of the below:

  • Risk & Analytics

  • Order Management (OMS) & Trading

  • Investment operations and accounting; must be conversant in current trends in fixed income and equity markets

At BlackRock, You Will:

  • Build and execute a business development plan of attack for the FraBeLux region

  • Work closely with senior sales management team to generate prospect client leads, support the end-to-end sales of investment technology products to key prospects, and harvest revenue opportunities across existing clients

  • Provide prospective clients with thoughtful insights on observations and trends in the asset management space

  • Engage in a consultative sales process to communicate and demonstrate Aladdin’s unique value proposition

  • Run detailed due diligence workshops with prospective clients

  • Create the commercial proposals, lead negotiations, and close

  • Contribute innovative ideas to Aladdin’s product team based on prospective client needs and strategic insights to meet the needs of the fast-evolving market place

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
