We are looking for aManager of Sales Finance interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Finance team at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge.

Overview: The incumbent will provide financial guidance and decision-making support to Sales Channel leaders and broker partners to achieve profitable growth. The Manager, Sales/Finance (Mgr S/F) will collaborate with the Sales departments to continue driving effective trade spend ROI, recommendations for P&L enhancement, and efficient/optimized resource utilization. The Mgr S/F will partner cross-functionally while assisting in the development of traditional trade and retail media programs, analyzing working trade/non-trade expenses, and provide transparency to all levels of the sales hierarchy. The Manager S/F will be responsible for providing oversight of the budget v. plan v. actual spend.

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales/Finance Leadership and Sales Leadership to highlight customer investment opportunities and efficiencies

  • Works in conjunction with customer teams to help them improve accuracy of their periodic sales and trade estimates through insightful analysis

  • Generates, analyzes, and advises on quarterly customer P&Ls for existing accounts

  • Provides financial support for customer portfolios and guidance around variances in costs and expenses

  • Develop analysis for revenue and profit variance – related to volume / price / assortment (mix) to provide financial insights of unintended factors

  • Facilitates solution-driven discussions with Sales, brokers, and A/R to ensure appropriate focus and follow-up on topics such as spoilage, deductions, penalties until resolved

  • Identifies spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive landscape- recommends business opportunities

  • Participates on special projects as assigned by department leadership

  • Mentors new hires and/or interns on processes and systems necessary to perform their role

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CPG related business experience

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree

  • 4+years of financial analyst experience

  • Ability to read, speak, and write English and Spanish is required

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word (ranked in priority)

  • Professional level presentation skills to a various level of organizational leaders

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience in the food, candy, snacking and/or confectionery categories

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; VBA, macro-enabled workbooks, etc.

  • Trade Promotion Management software experience

    Worksite:

  • The PIM Brands Global Headquarters is in Park Ridge, NJ

  • The role requires working on-site: Monday thru Thursday; Friday is Work From Home

    Travel:

  • Estimated <10-15%; to manufacturing locations, trade shows, retailer/broker/customer business reviews, etc.
