Summary:

Advanced Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing the various analytical use cases throughout its lifecycle, from requirements gathering, scope documentation , fit gap analysis, understanding the big picture, the data source design, dashboard development, stakeholder management , security and deployment. The role will be a hands-on lead and will be responsible for modernizing the existing analytical applications, including defining and implementing analytical standards, guidelines, and best practices, and collaborating with IT and business teams to design and review analytical use cases.

Essential Duties:

  • Design and architect enterprise level, comprehensive analytical solutions that align with business stakeholder requirements, ensuring scalability, security and high performance.

  • Manage employees who are data analysts /senior data analysts and contractors with Tableau experience.

  • Be accountable for the performance and results of the team within the deliverables assigned.

  • Adapt to the priorities set by the management and leadership and raise issues/risks promptly.

  • Partner with other functions across IT (Data, PM, BA, EA, Security, QA, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, and timeliness of solutions.

  • Provide leadership, problem solving and technical guidance to employees, colleagues and Business Users.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with their business partners and peers within Technology and Corporate Functions.

  • Provide expert guidance and leadership in analytics-related technical matters to IT and business partners.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Tableau updates, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

  • Propose and drive initiatives to enhance business processes, system performance, and user experience.

40% Lead design and delivery of comprehensive analytical use cases, applications, architecture, and technology. Lead the self service analytics and IT authored analytics that improve and enhance our analytical tools for the business: reliability, availability, and serviceability.

20% Collaborate with internal IT and Business partners to ensure that analytical solutions align to the business and technology needs. Manage the team accordingly.

20% Assessment of new features, implementation of POCs, capacity planning, performance tuning, and assisting in solving technical challenges when needed.

10% Provides leadership and expertise in the development of standards, analytical governance, design patterns, and IT best practices.

10% Perform other duties as assigned

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science,Data Analytics, Information Systems or related fields.

  • 10+ years of experience in Data analytics/Data foundation experience for analytics.

  • Expert in Tableau datasource development.

  • Expert in Tableau dashboard development.

  • Tableau Desktop /Server /Cloud expertise.

  • Data blending/ complex analytics use cases.

  • Strong understanding of techniques to visualize enterprise data and analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.

  • Stakeholder management.

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL; knowledge of database structures,principals, and practices.

  • Proficiency with managing complex data from multiple data sources and demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures.

  • Assist with Tableau Server/Cloud administration, including monitoring environments, diagnosing problems, and repairing issues in a timely manner.

  • Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security model.

  • Curate and publish standardized data sources for Creators to access via Tableau Cloud.

  • Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network/server related issues.

  • Serve as backup Server Administrator to install and deploy new versions of Tableau software across all lifecycle environments.

  • Create/Modify/Manage Tableau Server Task Schedules.

  • Monitor Tableau Server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.

  • Self driven, motivated candidate without much hand holding.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Tableau and data analytics.

  • Marketing background is beneficial as we need intermediate knowledge of marketing and sales analytics metrics/KPIs.

  • Advanced analytics experience on multiple functional domains to analyze large and complex data sets and generate actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Analyze data in Google Big Query through SQL,provide recommendations on data products needed for Tableau.

  • Visualization through Predictive analytics, Statistical techniques, R/Python.

  • Certification in Tableau is a plus.

  • Strong ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
