  • We are hiring immediately for a Service Support Manager position.

  • Location: Corporate Essentials - 2 Cranberry Rd Unit #2, Parsippany, NJ 07054. Note: online applications accepted only.

  • Requirement: Prior management experience with field service technicians is preferred. This position requires 5-10% travel.

  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Job Summary

Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery. Responsible for service area, warehouse space that the machines are stored, parts areas and service vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repairs and maintains all machines which includes lifting/moving them.

  • Manages include directing the organization of parts in the parts department and on the service vehicles.

  • Manage the dispatch and route service technicians.

  • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance and repair of machines and equipment. Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions of various machines.

  • Directs workers engaged in assembling, retrofitting, upgrading, and installing various machines. Installs Market Central environments or other architectures. Communicate with clients regarding power/spec requirements, problems, and schedules.

  • Studies productivity and schedules to estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet maintenance schedules.

  • Implements changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew and provide a safe work environment.

  • Interprets company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Assists workers in solving work-related problems. Maintains time and production records.

  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate individual activities; performs workers' supervised activities as needed.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.

    Qualifications:

  • Two-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Certification to service refrigeration components is preferred.

  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
