Laboratory Technician (Octane Analysis)

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician for one of our clients, a leading inspection company committed to excellence in fuel quality and innovation, located in southeast Houston, TX.

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician with specialized experience in octane analysis to join this dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate octane number determinations using industry-standard methods.

• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support research and development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in octane rating assessments or chemical analysis.

• Strong background in chemical analysis and octane rating assessments.

• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Details

• Contract with the possibility to become permanent

• Shift 6:00 – 6:00 rotating

• Pay Rate:$25-35 per hour DOE
