At V2X, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR . This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program . We are looking for a Mid-Level Autonomy / Mission Planning Analyst to support the execution of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) research and development (R&D) programs by coordinating functions between government and contractor project management and military leaders involved in program planning and execution. This position is located on-site in Patuxent River, MD and requires the candidate to have an active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • Support the development of network management and implementaticin; message standards; operational procedures; and system interface definition and control throughout the development and integration of autonomy with the CCA program and a focus on mission planning.

  • Support the development of autonomy concept of employment in a mission planning environment; determination of information exchange requirements supporting missions and tasks; and the identification of messages and data elements necessary for effective and interoperable force employment.

  • Perform analyses of operational doctrine, and develop technology concepts and connectivity techniques to enhance operational capabilities.

  • Support the design and development of system performance evaluation tools.

  • Analyze contractor proposals as permitted by law and regulation.

  • Coordinate and support efforts of multiple stakeholders across different services for aligned solutions.

  • Occasional (10-30%) travel is required for this position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

    Required Experience / Skills:

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in software development efforts. Experience in SAP programs is a plus.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).

  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries.

  • Experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
