Finger Lakes Health PAT FINANCIAL SVC REP in Penn Yan, New York
​​​​​​Seeking candidates with prior hospital billing experience!
Position could work at either our Penn Yan or our Geneva location. Opportunities to work a hybird schedule after orientation process.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for accurate and timely submission of claims to third party payers and follow up of billed claims for payment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
High school degree with strong emphasis in business.
Preferred:
A.A.S. degree.
LICENSE:
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
One year of related hospital, physician office, or business office experience.
Experience to include knowledge of relevant third party billing regulations, requirements, and CPT coding.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, power point.

Salary Range: $19.35 - $22.47
