As a Senior Researcher on Electrical Systems, you will help fulfill this mission by providing and driving impactful results on upcoming technology, and you will do so in a collaborative environment. This role works with a team is an international group with great talent who are passionate and knowledgeable about Power Electronics. And no, you don’t need to come from Aerospace to work in our Electrical Systems Team. We can work with your power electronics skills and give you an applied background in aerospace systems and propulsion architectures.

Green, more sustainable aviation starts right here. You will join a worldwide community of researchers influencing and developing industry-changing technology. And you will do that through a mixture of theoretical analysis, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations in our lab facilities.

What YOU will do:

• You will fulfill this mission by providing and driving impactful results on upcoming technology, and you will do so in a collaborative environment.

• You will conduct a mixture of theoretical analysis, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations in our lab facilities.

• You will navigate uncharted territory as this is a disruptive and emerging field,

• You will engage creative thinking that leads to innovative concepts.

• You will develop and successfully execute technology research plans.

What YOU will learn:

• You will get exposure to research that will enhance your technical acumen and professional development.

• You will also be able to partner with universities, government agencies, national labs, and professional organizations to maximize the impact of your own work.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Skills you must have:

• A Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, with several years of industrial or academic experience, or a master’s degree with several+ years of experience in industry or academia.

Skills we value:

• An applied background in aerospace systems and architecture is a plus.

• Experience with aerospace regulations and certification standards.
