Your Role and Responsibilities

Our Experience Engine team is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist. Comprised of data experts and demand drivers, Experience Engine plans, executes, and optimizes our brand to demand to sales experiences in order to convert our qualified pipeline into revenue growth.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist on our Demand Generation team, you will be a subject matter expert in Marketo with a deep knowledge in audience segmentation, response routing and nurture programs that ensure digital campaigns drive revenue for the business. You will be working with a team that is making data-driven decisions. You should have a mindset to be continually learning, always staying up-to-date on the latest marketing technologies, and thrive in an environment that embraces transformation.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Independently building and executing end-to-end inbound and outbound campaigns in Marketo with an emphasis on continuous optimization

  • A/B Testing and Optimization: you are constantly looking for ways to improve campaign design

  • Developing a deep understanding of databases and reporting tools and metrics in order to troubleshoot and execute against stakeholder requirements

  • Being the go to expert for Marketo needs across our different marketing and communications functions, including representing Experience Engine and the Demand team on transformation projects and key initiatives

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office is requested at least 4 times a week until the team is comfortable with the work environment. Then it can come down to 3 times per week depending on the role.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Understanding of digital marketing and experience or strong interest in marketing automation

  • Strong relationship building, negotiation and presentation skills in Japanese

  • Logical, structured thinking and the ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment based on data-driven analysis and business priorities

  • JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N2.

  • Business-level Japanese and English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking all on a daily basis)
