Job Description

Perimeter Security Engineer involves L3 support for network perimeter services which include Firewall, IDS/IPS, remote access VPN, and Radius services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deploying, operating and maintaining cyber security solutions to address business needs.

• Possess detailed knowledge of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and understand the interdependencies of aggregate parts.

• Determine which group best delivers services.

• Manage projects from inception to service management.

• Function as a consultant for team members and Product Lines in specialty area.

• Conduct feasibility studies to develop formal cost-benefit analyses.

• Support and sustain security services.

• Help develop short- and long-term security strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology/Security, or similar degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, AAA and network security technology in a medium to large enterprise environment.

• 5-10 years of IT Operations or relevant experience with a strong focus in security.

• Propose a strong information security background: certifications such as Palo Alto Networks ACE or CNSE are a strong plus.
