Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, who drives IBM Japan Group hiring from Malaysia. In this role called "Selection Specialist", you will contribute to a wide range of activities in the recruitment lifecycle, including passive candidate search, scouting, communication with candidates and hiring managers, and offer extension. You will be an integral part of our global Talent Acquisition community and collaborate with recruiters in Japan, sourcers and coordinators in Malaysia and other locations. Your mission will be part of this team, hire qualified talents, and build the future of IBM.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will drive IBM Japan Group hiring from Malaysia.

  • Specifically, as part of our direct hiring strategy, your responsibility includes Passive candidate search on job boards, Scouting candidates, Recruiter interviews, submitting diverse slate of candidates to Hiring Managers, Communication with candidates in the selection process, Communication with Hiring Managers about the selection process and results, designing competitive offers, Explaining offers to candidates

  • You will handle these activities as a member of our global Talent Acquisition community.

Your Opportunities:

  • You will learn industry-leading recruiting strategies and skills, with an emphasis on direct recruiting.

  • You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition experts around the globe, as a member of our global team.

  • On a daily basis, you will practice our direct recruiting strategy, by communicating with recruiters in Japan, sourcers and coordinators in Malaysia and other locations.

  • Additionally, you will get a deep understanding of IT and Consulting industries as well as trends and operations of the Human Resources department, by collaborating with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition branding and process professionals, and other HR colleagues.

・具体的には、ダイレクト採用における対応を中心として、キャリア採用サイクルにおける以下の業務をご担当いただきます

・担当業務:転職媒体等を活用した候補者サーチ、候補者のスカウト、候補者とのリクルーター面談、Hiring Managerへの候補者の推薦、選考中の候補者とのコミュニケーション、選考の進め方に関するHiring Managerとのコミュニケーション、オファー内容のデザイン、候補者へのオファー内容の説明

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3-year-long or longer experiences in Talent Acquisition, including direct sourcing activities

  • Close-to-native level of Japanese language proficiency

  • Business level of English language proficiency

  • Interest in IT & Consulting industries
