Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Pewaukee, Wisconsin

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Paper/Packaging industry, located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, 53072, United States. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key business support analyst/partner for all locations, providing financial analysis and support to various departments. This role demands strong analytical skills and experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales and profit analysis for items, product lines, business segments, markets, and product pricing

• Perform price/volume/mix analysis and EBITDA bridge analysis

• Analyze selling, general, and administrative expenses

• Create complex and detailed analysis to explain business trends

• Publish weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Tracker Report and calculate financial KPI's

• Develop reports to capture key information from ERP systems

• Support the preparation and publish financial forecast for the current year and future years

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets

• Act as a financial business partner for the sales plan in terms of customer comparisons, pricing impacts, margin analysis, and commissions

• Support the development of SG& A department spending as a financial business partner

• Lead assigned Business Improvement Projects and implement recommendations

• Handle ad hoc reporting for various areas of the organization as necessary. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Paper/Packaging industry

• Proficient in budgeting and forecasting

• Strong financial analysis skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree would be an added advantage

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred

• Proficiency in financial software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to present financial information to non-financial colleagues

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports and forecasts.
