Summary of Objective:

Perform general building and maintenance duties. These duties include but are not limited to: Installation and drywall repair, Painting, Carpentry, Intermediate plumbing, Intermediate electrical work and installation, HVAC PM's and repairs, Filter changes, Ceiling tile installation and maintenance, assembly of furniture and equipment, Snow and ice removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Able to identify and order all needed parts using PCI ordering system. Able to lead repairs from start to completion. Able to identify improvement opportunities. Able to paint, spackle, repair walls at medium project level (entire production suite). Able to perform plumbing repairs and fixtures replacement at medium project level. Able to perform carpentry repairs at medium project level. Able to assembly/disassemble and install furniture at advanced project level. Performs Preventive Maintenance of Air Handlers. Trained and able to weld. Has intermediate Locksmith abilities including making keys. Able to work directly with vendors on equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and projects. Able to perform intermediate troubleshooting of all Facilities Equipment/Systems (power, faults, restarts) to the major component level. Performs all Preventive Maintenance with SME’s or vendors for more complicated PM’s, as needed. Able to make temperature/humidity changes offered by the system at the Supervisor Security Level. Must demonstrate ability to type or use a computer This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, EHS, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 1-5 years related experience and/or training.

  • Basic Mathematical Skills

  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.

  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.

  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

  • Has an official/recognized HVAC training and/or mechanical education/training and/or electrical (high & low voltage) education/training

  • Has intermediate electrical training allowing intermediate electrical troubleshooting.

  • Has a rigging abilities including heavy equipment relocation at medium project level.

  • Has intermediate understanding of HVAC systems, Chilled Water systems, Hot Water systems, Compressed Air systems, Clean Air systems, Electrical Power and/or ASRS Systems supporting listed above equipment/systems.

  • Has a strong understanding of Facilities Equipment including Air Handlers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Air Compressors, Dehumidifiers, Humidifiers, and others.

  • Has a strong understanding of Honeywell Station modules: HVAC, Fire, and Utilities.
