Innovative, services organization seeks a Logistics Specialist with previous experience managing the operations of the company. This role involves ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods from suppliers to customers, coordinating with the warehouse and sales team to establish appropriate scheduling and delivering, analyzing invoices for payment, maintaining accurate records of inventory of shipments, arranging transportation and handling shipping documents, prepare and present reports on logistics performance matrix, and analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement. As the Logistics Specialist, you will also maintain warehouse relationships, coordinate with transportation providers, assist with price negotiations, and ensure compliance within standard operating procedures.

Primary Duties

· Manage supply orders and inventory

· Analyze and optimize logistical procedures

· Review and track purchase orders for accuracy

· Assist with vendor onboarding

· Provide efficient storage solutions

· Communicate with nationwide suppliers

· Account Management

· Prepare reports for management

· Ensure prompt and proper movement of products

· Arrange expedited deliveries as needed

Requirements

The ideal Logistics Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Logistics Specialist role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of logistics coordination experience

· Inventory management experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Outstanding organizational abilities

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
