Job Summary

The Manager of Marketing Operations will be responsible for supporting the Financial and Vendor management for the Growth Strategy and Operations team. This position will lead the financial planning, forecasting and analysis to drive operational excellence and support the achievement of the teams’ key objectives. The Manager will lead the Vendor Relationships in partnership with the leadership team and will work closely with the finance, procurement, legal, privacy and security teams. This role will have a significant impact on business results and typically manages directly or indirectly one or more groups of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the end-to-end operations support for the Growth Strategy and Operations teams specified, including:

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for financial and operational efficiencies

  • Responsible for tracking and managing the team’s efficiency and effectiveness in utilizing the tools and resources supporting the marketing team

  • Operate with a sense of entrepreneurship and purpose to drive meaningful and effective change in programmatic operations

  • Strong Problem-Solving capabilities – able to anticipate, recognize and clearly defines problems and analyze, weigh options, and propose solutions

  • Assesses and manage issues/projects and tasks in order priority, with the ability to manage multiple projects with short and long-term key dates and deliverables

  • Stay up to date on the industry and competitive landscape and best practices supporting these functions, recommending change where necessary

  • Identify best practices to incorporate into marketing operations

  • KPI driven and results oriented to identify and drive innovation across marketing operations and execution

  • Analyze & present monthly operations and performance metrics to understand trends, identify issues, and develop recommendations

  • Financial management

  • Responsible for budgeting, monthly forecasting and reconciliations, purchasing, receiving and payables

  • Responsible for coordination and communication across HQ, LOBs and Division business partners and finance teams to ensure clear, consistent processes and communications are maintained

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining controls to ensure maximum financial controls and business performance

  • Extensive experience managing large budgets while maintaining/increasing positive ROI and key KPIs

  • Vendor management

  • Develop strong relationships with our software and consulting partners and experts to effectively manage the matrixed operations team

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing contracts through legal, procurement, security, privacy processes

  • Responsible for managing multiple engagements within the Martech, Insights and Attribution/Analytics space in addition to daily operations responsibilities

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications Required

  • A Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Accounting or Operations

  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in business or marketing operations

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and the ability to tell a story with data
