DESCRIPTION OF WORK Working as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist involves consulting and collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical and non-clinical support staff in the monitoring and evaluations of the quality assurance and risk management program activities at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. You interpret internal and external regulations governing a long-term care facility and identify possible issues of non-compliance. These duties are achieved through monitoring patient care records, participating in facility surveys, and recommending corrective actions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week. Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or Two years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
