Summary:

The Research Assistant will aid in collecting and managing data in a multi-site study aiming to identify biomarkers and associated predictors of clinical and behavioral outcomes in individuals at risk for psychosis and psychiatric comparison groups. The research assistant will be involved in data collection at all time points and will administer semi-structured clinical interviews and cognitive tasks, as well as be involved in the collection of biosamples, including EEG data, MRI data, and processing blood samples (e.g., centrifuging and storing in freezers, although a phlebotomist will collect blood). The research assistant will also assist lab staff with daily lab operations, such as recruiting participants, managing data, and supervising undergraduate volunteers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a psychological research lab. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree at the position's start date and six months of directly related experience, which can include volunteer experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. (current undergrads in their last semester can apply)

*Experience working or volunteering with individuals with mental disorders and/or similar vulnerable populations.

*Experience with one of the following or comparable programs: SAS, SPSS, R, Qualtrics, Redcap, Python, and/or STATA.

*Experience with data management.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

*Ability to work nights and weekends

Preferred:

*Experience with MRI, EEG, or psychophysiological assessments. *Experience working with clinical populations (for example, clinical interviewing).
