AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation Technical Representative in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania

Summary of Position 

Provide the customer with the technical assistance necessary to ensure correct and safe operation of the AgustaWestland product; furnish on-the-job training and provide technical advice to the customer; both on-site and over the phone. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

*  Time*

*1. *Maintain an updated status of the AgustaWestland fleet and customers within the assigned area.

*2. *Visit the costumer on a periodical basis or when needed, and maintain continuous  contact to ensure the product is operated correctly and within the prescribed  safety standards, and to ensure the confidence of the customer in the product and in AAC.   

*3. *Resolve all technical questions raised by the customers, and provide technical advise and on-the-job training as requested.

*4. *Submit reports on customers` activity periodically and to make timely submittal of discrepancy and malfunction reports, trip reports, and contact reports.

*5. *Perform special hands-on operations, such as inspections, modifications, Technical Bulletins compliance, etc. only upon request by AAC.

*6. *Provide continuous feedback on the accuracy of the company technical publications, for continuous improvement.

*7. *Support the AAC warranty and spare parts departments on technical --related  subjects.

*8. *Provide classroom instruction upon request by AAC.

*9. *Provide support to the shop operation such as on-the-job training, supervision, special hands-on operations upon request by AAC.

*10. *Travel frequently on a short-notice to support customers and company requirements, including weekends and holidays   

*11. *Comply and execute any action program as suggested by the immediate supervisor regarding the intelligence gathering and the promotion of AgustaWestland programs throughout the assigned area.

*12. *Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Position:

*         Education*

HS diploma or equivalent, BA/BS degree highly desired.

* *

*         Experience*

  • Minimum ten years experience in aviation with at least five years of hands-on helicopter technician experience
  • Background in Avionics is preferred

* *

*        Competencies & Attributes*

Completion of formal maintenance specially courses on light /medium turbine 

helicopters is required. --A109 Series & AW139 preferred.

Completion of formal courses of instruction on turbo shaft engines maintenance. 

Pratt & Whitney 206/207C Series & PT6 series engine are preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Capable of inspiring confidence in the customers; able to articulate during technical presentations; always willing to cooperate; able to maintain a positive attitude in the most difficult situations.

*         Licensure/Certification*

FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
