Job Title: Construction Electrician Apprentice

Compensation: $17 - $20/hr

Job Summary: We are seeking an eager and diligent Construction Electrician Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. This entry-level position will provide you with hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of electrical work within the construction industry. You will work closely with skilled electricians to learn the trade through on-the-job training while also assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in new and existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of electrical systems including conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical apparatus under the supervision of a journeyman electrician.
Follow electrical codes, blueprints, and diagrams to understand the layout of electrical systems and ensure compliance with building regulations.
Help with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical components, tools, and equipment.
Manage materials and inventory to ensure availability of necessary supplies for projects.
Attend and actively participate in job-related training sessions and apprenticeship classes to develop a comprehensive understanding of the trade.
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; a vocational training or certificate in electrical technology is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects, and comfortable working at heights.
Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
Work on various construction sites with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Physical activity including standing, bending, and lifting is required.
Safety equipment must be worn at all times during work hours.
