Accounting/Finance (Professional)

The Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing financial support to the Director of Finance and Administration and the Admin Team. Position will be responsible for reconciling all department Pitt restricted (04) and service center (03) accounts and for tracking faculty discretionary/start-up and other cost center activity. Will monitor OneCard activity, complete fiscal documents (JE, interdept charge entries, Panther Express specialty forms, etc.), and generate invoices and both financial and grant-related tables and reports. Responsible for maintaining the department accounting shadow system and providing training for new users. In order to be successful in the position, incumbent must have excellent communication, computer and accounting skills, be detail oriented, able to multitask, and adhere to strict deadlines. Knowledge of or ability to learn Department Manager and PRISM/Panther Express software, and Pitt policies and procedures is a must.

A bachelor's degree and prior experience in an academic setting is preferred. Accounting skills are required.
