University of Pittsburgh Part-Time Lecturer in Psychology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach one 3-credit face-to-face undergraduate course (Second Language Acquisition), meeting Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am, in person, during the Fall 2024 term (beginning August 26, 2024, and ending December 14, 2024). The appointment is for one semester. Required qualifications are an advanced degree in Psychology or a related field and expertise in the topic of Second Language Acquisition, demonstrated by professional specialization, graduate training specialization, and previous teaching. The application should include a brief cover letter addressing the candidate's qualifications, the candidate's CV, the candidate's teaching portfolio, a diversity statement, and the names and contact information of three references. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
