PBC Temp Research Tech (FT)

The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing the Operating Room schedule to identify cases eligible for researcher projects. Working closely with the Department of Pathology, the incumbent will collect, process, disburse, and store human biological materials based on established protocols. Processing may include, but is not limited to: aliquoting blood products, gross dissection of tissue, and PBMC isolation. Routine data entry into inventory system for the collection, receipt, disbursement, and storage of each sample. Pulls samples to fill requests based on PBC customer projects. Utilizes personal protective equipment and ensures adherence to all applicable protocols and guidelines. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, adept to multi-tasking, and organizational skills are necessary to be successful in this position. Rotation at other PBC sites may be required.

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
