DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Program Manager, Root Cause & Corrective Action , you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive problem-solving program across all PPG Industrial Segment sites. Leading a diverse, cross-business, and cross-functional team, your role is pivotal in formulating strategic plans for program deployment and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization. With a focus on root cause analysis and mitigation tools, you will consult with organizational leaders to define training requirements, coach complex investigations, and cultivate a network of problem-solving experts. Your oversight extends to establishing governance processes, monitoring metrics, and managing budgets to ensure the programs ongoing efficacy.

Key Responsibilities: * Accountable for program strategies focused on deployment of Root Cause Analysis and Root cause and Mitigation tools (Problem Solving, Poka-yoke, RCA). This includes developing strategic plans for program roll-out based on business and employee needs, establishing and overseeing a learning &development team tasked with designing effective learning experiences to meet these needs, delivering a suite of learning solutions to support business aligned performance. * Consult with leaders throughout all levels of the organization to define minimum training requirements per job function, and employee skill progression training paths for Root Cause Analysis corrective action and Mitigation tools (Problem Solving, Poka-yoke, RCA), and strategy for implementation. * Capable to lead and coach complex Root Cause Investigation efforts. Plan to lead a handful of investigations per year. * Establish, oversee, and influence a network of Problem-Solving experts, engineers and black belts, with a focus on root cause and risk analysis, within subsets of the organization, ensuring expert-level capability is developed through a rigorous process that includes training, practice, feedback, and opportunities to demonstrate expertise. Within this network of experts, create a network of Trainers through a "Train the trainer" model, to facilitate and lead problem-solving trainings locally on-sites. * Establish a governance process for reviewing problem solving documents, such as RCA, ensuring documentation is thoroughly completed, evaluated for robustness, and aligns with compliance requirements for documentation based on EHS, QMS, and NPI policies. * Lead the RCA review board after establishing it. * Establish, lead, & influence a team tasked with designing, reviewing, revising, delivering, and evaluating program materials, resources, and solutions for fundamental tools, job procedures and operating processes for Root Cause and corrective action, consulting with internal stakeholders to develop contextualized plans for sites to execute and adhere to. * Establish, monitor, key metrics to track progress towards goals, and success of the program. * Establish and maintain budget in relation to the implementation and continuous improvement of the program.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business or another relevant field. * PMP Certification strongly preferred. * > 10 years of industrial experience with operations, root cause investigations, problem solving, system creation and training * Lean Six Sigma Certification, preferably Black Belt or Master Black Belt * Comfortable operating in a matrix organization and delivering through others as part of a shared vision. * Must be comfortable presenting and facilitating training courses to small and large audiences at all levels of the organization. * Must be comfortable in 'Gray spaces' - taking a loosely defined concept or gap and proposing a defined & actionable solution. * Excellent soft-skills preferred - adaptability, emotional intelligence, perseverance, active listening, mindf lness, effective mentoring, consulting, and coaching skills.
