Overall Summary: The Digital Financial Transformation Office is seeking a Plan to Perform Business Analyst II who ishighly motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the successful execution of project from inception to completion for plan to perform. The ideal candidate will have strong background in capital and O&M budgeting, forecasting and resource planning, and has the ability to work effectively with cross-function teams. The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting, analysis, documentation, reporting, quality assurance and testing during various stages of this initiative. This role is integral to the program's success and, as they provide critical support necessary for informed decision-making and efficient project execution.

Location: Hybrid (see below), downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities: Understand the project scope, objectives and success criteria. Assist with documentation for project and future state process and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Provide input on Solution requirements and impact of changes to the current operating environment. Assist the various initiatives under Planning and Forecasting, Workforce Planning, O&M and Capital Planning and Master Data Management contributing to the success of each workstream. Serve as the business subject matter expert for understanding processes and requirements, ensuring alignment between business and technical design, including system design and testing for both O&M, Capital and resource planning. Escalates risks and issues for resolution to Plan to Perform Lead. Act as liaison to end-users. Participates in the key requirement, test, and design workshops. Participate in the draft, review and edit training material. Assist with Data tie-out/validation. Assist with System testing/UAT.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and resource management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Utility experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements, including US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley. Strong business and commercial acumen. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to quickly achieve a high-level understanding of company functions, processes, and systems, and ability to develop relationships with business unit peers. Ability to analyze, approach, and solve unstructured problems. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analytic skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Hybrid Wo k Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.

Scope Process redesign of plan to perform for the purpose of streamlining Oracle application and to utilize EPM functionality and conforming to leading utility industry practice. Contributes to proactive planning and redesign exercises of plan to perform as requested. Leads changes and implementations for direct team as pushed down through the organization. Help to train and develop staff.

Decision Impact Resolves problems of great complexity. Improves existing processes and systems using conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretations skills. Solutions require thorough understanding of business strategies, system and process optimization and issue resolution. Defines broad based solutions that would require consideration of wider implications on organization results and resources.

Data Governance Utilize data to make business decisions and cleanse data as appropriate, support data stewardship activities and partner with IT on underlying data needs. Implement Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS) to support metadata updates across the Oracle EPM Cloud applications (EPBCS, and EPCM).
