Senior Dining Services Captain
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure resident and guest satisfaction by leading and supporting the wait staff and serving meals in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. To create and maintain an atmosphere of cordiality, provide personal attention and positive customer service, as well as a calm environment throughout the department. Assist with set up, service, and execution of special events when needed.
Essential Functions:
Provides tableside service by greeting and taking meal orders from residents and their guests.
Completes assigned opening and closing side work, at the beginning & end of shift.
Participates in daily, monthly, and annual cleaning duties.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures of The Highlands at Pittsford.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications-Education & Experience:Minimum High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years previous serving experience in related field required.
NE- Pay Range: $17.50hr- $24.00hr. *Experienced based pay
