About the Role:

As a Contract Manager, you will oversee and manage the contracts negotiated with our customers, including helping oversee our managed service operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are compliant, optimized for performance, and aligned with our business goals. This role also requires strong business analyst skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including review, execution, expiration, and renewal.

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients and service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Provide feedback on contract language and terms to protect the company’s interests and ensure a smooth billing and client payment process.

  • Maintain a precise and organized contracts repository for easy retrieval of agreements.

    Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.

  • Lead initiatives to build and enhance performance metrics, collaborating closely with relevant teams to improve procedures and systems.

    Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related inquiries within the company, providing timely and accurate responses as well as educating team members on contract and billing issues.

    Risk and Compliance Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring all potential issues are addressed proactively.

  • Manage the tracking and renewal of business licenses across various jurisdictions.

    Financial Oversight:

  • Assist with financial queries related to contracts and ensure accurate contract administration.

  • Enter contracts and billing schedules utilizing the sales order and project module functionality within Zuper and our ERP system.

  • Partner with financial resource with administration needs like monthly billingWx

    Operational Efficiency:

  • Maintain and update records and data centers to ensure high visibility and communication across the company.

  • Assist in other projects, including contract process and management efficiencies, improvements, innovation, and training.

    Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present reports on contract performance, financial metrics, and business insights to senior management.

  • Maintain and where possible, enhance internal processes, documentation, and best practices.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contract management, preferably understanding the managed service environment. Experience in business analysis is highly desirable.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and business analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
