The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plano, TX location in the Neuromodulation Division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

This position provides laboratory specific administrative support to the Microbiology and Calibration Laboratories.

What You’ll Work On

  • Position reports to the Department Manager but day to day work is coordinated by Lab Supervision.

  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking all incoming lab requests. Including, sample/equipment receipt, tracking, disposition and reporting

  • Responsible for coordinating a variety of lab duties:

  • Ordering, tracking, and disposition of lab supplies

  • PO’s and tracking of services such as external vendor services,

  • Responsible for written correspondence at the direction of department management.

  • Responsible for inputting data to lab systems and compiling data to support laboratory results metrics and trend analysis

  • Responsible for reviewing and verifying compliance of documentation and notifying Lab Supervision of errors or issue in a timely manner

  • Responsible for coordination of testing and calibration activities including scheduling on-site vendor testing/calibrations and testing/calibration notifications (due, past due, etc.)

  • May assist in the creation and tracking of change requests in the document management system

  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Equipment: Work standard office equipment such as telephone, fax/copier, and a personal computer with standard office software and laboratory management software.

Working Conditions: Work primarily in a standard office environment with air conditioning, good lighting with a low to moderate noise level.

Required Qualifications

  • High-school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Overtime may be available based on business needs.

The base pay for this position is $17.80 – $35.60 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
