Job Summary:

The Technical Writer will assist the Emergency Management Team with writing standard operating procedures for multiple lines of business including physical security, health, and safety programs. The writer will work with many different stakeholders for input. This position will have a hybrid schedule (remote/client locations).

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  • Work closely with team leaders to review, develop, and produce materials to communicate standard operating procedures.

  • Partner with and lead subject-matter experts to create client-specific technical solutions which address their unique needs.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external resources.

  • Develop and institutionalize the codes of conduct and operational methods.

  • Responsible for the overall management of the policy and process documentation related to specific sites and positions.

  • Act as a resource on methodology of producing security procedure manuals and processes.

  • Work on special projects, as needed.

  • Assist in the design and completion of tables, figures, and other graphics, as needed.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or related field preferred, with at least 2-5 years of security procedure writing experience within a large multi-site organization. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
