About the Role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. From managing inventory and coordinating shipments to leading and motivating a team of warehouse associates, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining optimal inventory levels at all times.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment for all warehouse personnel.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, monitor productivity, and optimize workflows.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, meeting customer demands and delivery deadlines.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications:
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in a warehouse or stockroom required with at least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment .
Skills:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safety protocols.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and customers.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
