Job Description Works with a cross-functional team to support a smooth flow of shipments and deliveries. Responsibilities: Receiving If unassisted, inspect trailer for security outside the building, Open the trailer and inspect for load integrity, odors, and damage. Unload trailer. Sorting by item and lot code. Process receipts Tag for missing information. Tag for incoming inspection. Shipping Print orders for Pickers and DTC Review paperwork from drivers after loading. Ship confirm. * Other duties as may be assigned Evaluate any changes required/requested within 2 weeks. Investigates and provides solutions for changes in manning , supply, and demand. Participate in ISO auditing as needed. Enter specific Work Order data on production schedule. Other duties as may be assigned. Run the daily production meeting Cross-Train on forklift to provide back-up support as needed Qualifications JD Edwards experience a plus. Good oral and written communication skills. Flexibility and the ability to manage change. Ability to communicate and work well with others in the organization effectively and professionally. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Maintain fork truck license for receiving. High school diploma. Prefer prior experience in a production atmosphere. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to instruct and provide feedback to employees. Ability to share information internally and externally for the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The work environment is clean, comfortable and climate controlled.
