ManpowerGroup Quality Technician in Plymouth, Michigan

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand all customer standardized test method documents.

  • Perform physical property testing within corporate polyurethane quality lab according to the customer standardized documents.

  • Maintain, control, and ensure accuracy of test data.

  • Monitor and ensure testing is performed within Temperature and Humidity control.

  • Update testing matrix daily to note completed testing.

  • Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily.

  • Maintain sample and test fixture inventories.

  • Follow all lab safety practices.

  • Participate in ISO 16949 & A2LA (ISO 17025) system improvement activities, including but not limited to audits and Proficiency Testing.

  • Participate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment.

  • Participate in equipment verification.

  • Participate in Quality Planning meetings when required.

  • Be a self - starter; to complete all work orders in a timely manner.

  • Abide by all EH&S requirements.

  • Comply with company and departmental rules, policies and practices.

  • Communicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc.

  • Perform all roles & responsibilities as defined by the BOS policies & procedures.

  • Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Engineer/Manager or UTC Manager

Education & Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma

  • 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Applications: Excel

  • Willingness to learn and be trainable.
