Job Description

HII Unmanned Systems (HII UxS) is seeking a talented Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have supervision and oversight of daily manufacturing operations in a high tech manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate would have experience and strong working knowledge of some/all of the following attributes.

• Procurement

• Production Planning & Control

• Production System including assembly and test

• Quality Control

• Lean principles (or other structured continuous improvement philosophy)

• High tech environment

• New Product Introduction

Essential Job Responsibilities

Supervises employees who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging or completed units.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance

• Must have manufacturing experience within a defense company. #LI-MH1

Physical Requirements

May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
