A well-known energy company is looking to hire an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee

a major Solar project in Pomeroy, WA. This project is a 142 MW green field solar project that has a target completion date of December 2026. This role will include working with internal and external stakeholders in a cross-discipline project team consisting of engineering, environmental, permitting, legal, and operations staff, as well as the EPC contractor. The PM may also represent the company to landowners, local governments, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

10+ years of experience as a PM, APM, or Field Engineer on one or more utility scale solar projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and techniques, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

Ability to write clear, concise and direct narrative and reports.

Extensive knowledge of team management techniques to bring about agreement between divergent points of view.

Familiarity with MS Office, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and Procore

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance principals.

Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a cross-functional environment. Strong negotiating and critical thinking skills.

Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented and collaborative attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected. 5+ years of previous experience working on commercial level solar projects null
