Job Title: Food Mfr. Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Pomona, CA

Pay Range: $20.00

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

What’s Needed?

  • MUST have Machine Operating experience specifically in Food Manufacturing

  • Able to adhere to safety guidelines to ensure that all final products meet high-quality standards. GMP’s.

  • Able to recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

  • Able to assist production lead, room coordinator or supervisor as needed.

  • Able to participate fully in meetings/huddles, trainings and team building events.

  • Able to adhere to the concept of team, aligning to, supporting the company’s goals, and sharing knowledge.

  • Able to comply to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense and Food Quality regulations as required.

  • Able to communicate to facility management of any non-conformity issues or violations found.

  • Able to comply to all employee job safety requirements and regulations as required.

What's the Job?

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.

  • Control and adjust machine settings.

  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.

  • Test operation of machines periodically.

  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift.

  • Check output to spot machine related mistakes or flaws.

  • Keep all the necessary records of approved and defective units or final products.

  • Maintain all the necessary activity log(s) and required documentation per assigned frequency.

  • Ensures machine is operating in full capacity good working order.

  • Ensures machine is kept stocked with any materials it may need to perform its task.
