Atlantic Health System Patient Care Technician I, FT Nights, ICU in Pompton Plains, New Jersey
Principal Accountabilities:
assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
assisting patients with activities of daily living
performing post mortem care
measuring and recording I & O
performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN
maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required
License/Certification :
Current BLS preferred; required within 3 months of hire
Related Experience:
3+ months related nursing assistant experience and /or CNA training strongly preferred
