The Quality Technical Partner will be responsible for utilizing technical knowledge to help meet prescribed quality standards and company financial, delivery, and quality objectives. Provides technical and statistical knowledge to assist in a variety of quality areas under the guidance of the Plant Quality Manager. Duties may include:
Assist quality & production departments in the evaluation of quality issues (including customer & supplier issues) using statistical & problem solving techniques to determine root cause, implement corrective & preventative actions and improve processes
Investigate customer quality related complaints/returns and provide feedback to customers; meet with customers and participate in customer audits
Participate in studies to identify process capabilities, developing product inspections and test procedures and report quality requirements
Member of the internal auditing team, conduct internal audits
Work with supplies to solve quality issues
Exhibit safety awareness and model safe work practices in all aspects of the job
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields or equivalent h hands on experience working in a technical quality role; Required
Working experience with using statistical method and continuous improvement; Required
Ability to work collaboratively as a team and work independently with minimum supervision; Required
5 + years with ands-on experience working in a technical quality role supporting manufacturing; Preferred
Leadership or managerial expereince in a quality environment; Preferred
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects as well as maintain focus on individual tasks
Good presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Good project management skills
