Aston Carter Customer Experience Associate in Portland, Oregon

Our client is hiring for a Customer Experience Specialist to work in a showroom setting at a countertop specialty company. Seeking a customer-minded individual to join the team!

Description:

-This position requires individual interaction with customers, developing relationships, and substantial knowledge of products sold.

-Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, educating the customer on the sales process, assessing the customer’s needs, and locating products that closely match their specified color demand.

-Assist clients in selecting slabs for their overall project(s).

-Help coordinate marketing and outreach efforts to architects, designers, homebuilders, and the general public through various channels.

-Assist dealers such as fabricators with the sales and ordering process.

Skills & Qualifications:

-Required General Computer Literacy with Microsoft Office Suite, Data Entry, and Internet based information.

-Technical sales knowledge of the Granite, Marble, & Plumbing Fixtures would be a huge plus, not required

-Some college level or Bachelor’s Degree in related industry preferred.

-Requires 1 year of customer service and/or inside sales experience.
