Jana Chapman with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity. Do you enjoy working in a challenging and fast-paced culture? As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Top-notch analytical skills are vital to the duties of this position. This full-time role offers solid compensation and benefits along with possibility growth.

What you get to do every day

  • Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

  • Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required

  • Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of consolidations, intercompany transactions and eliminations

  • 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Detailed and have the ability work independently
