You will be performing all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis. Accepting complete ownership of your portion of the structural scope, reliably working to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Performing calculation checking of other engineers' work. Leading a team of Structural Engineers and Designers in the development of calculations, specifications, construction drawings, and the structural model. Provide design inputs and reviews of other engineer's projects.

You will use best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve service; solves complex problems. Works independently. Providing technical guidance, coaching, and/or mentorship to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers. Attending project meetings and take an active role to help team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or closely related field and 60 months of work experience as a Structural Engineer or closely related occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Expertise/ knowledge of: Structural analysis and design software.

  • Documented technical communication and technical writing skills.

  • Building engineering design, including phases spanning from preliminary design through to construction.

  • US building codes.

  • Design of steel, concrete and post tension structures.

  • Must have: Professional Engineer License (US or foreign).
