Honeywell has an exciting opening for a Human Resources Manager- Manufacturing role supporting our key U.S. manufacturing plant in Pottsville, PA. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Integrated Supply Chain, you will have an outstanding chance to join a team of highly engaged professionals and have responsibility for driving the business priorities across key sites in Advanced Materials, within the PMT, Performance, Materials and Technology business.

Work with site leadership to provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving strategic objectives including the following responsibilities:

  • Build and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

  • Drive a culture of growth, meeting commitments, and positive employee relations

  • Act as personal mentor and confidant for leaders, to include providing sound advice and counsel in employee relations matters

  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition COE to ensure flawless execution of staffing processes at all levels within the business

  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization at all levels (e.g., evaluation of cost, clarifying roles and responsibilities, organization design, etc.)

  • Talent and organizational development - assist in conducting organization assessments and upgrade talent through strategic staffing and talent pipeline development

  • Support talent review (MRR) process and ensure appropriate linkages with broader ISC and business reviews

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

  • Facilitate alignment of organizational processes, systems and culture with key business priorities and design management efforts

  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

  • Must be capable of balancing multiple stakeholders, assessing talents and skills of leaders, be innovative and creative, possess leader and mentor qualities, be team and results oriented, be able to mentor managers including dealing with performance issues and terminations

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, in a Human Resource capacity

  • 5+ years progressive Human Resource Generalist experience

WE VALUE

  • Master's degree or MBA in Human Resources

  • 3+ years’ experience with Supply Chain

  • Industrial Relations/IR experience in union environment

  • Ability to facilitate organizational change and cultivate linkage between strategic objectives and human resources activities

  • Demonstrated capability to communicate (written and verbal) and work effectively at all levels of the organization encouraging respect and credibility

  • Strong data analytical skills and process orientation along with proficiency in MS Office software including solid experience working with Microsoft Excel (generating and interpreting pivot tables, graphs and V-lookups)

  • Results driving, strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
