The Opportunity:

For our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division (ARDx) we are looking for an outstanding sales talent to join our great team in Czechia as a Sales Executive. This will be a field-based role requiring daily travelling across assigned area in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.

Preferred home location for the chosen candidate should be Brno, Olomouc, Breclav or Zlin area.

Sales Executive manages the sale of ARDx ID products and services in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary region. Develops opportunities, sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for all products/services/channels and ensures the attainment of profit and operations goals through direct and distributor sales channels.

Sales Executive is responsible for local sales and commercial activities for assigned territory (Eastern Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary). Responsible for identification and developing sales opportunities, planning, organizing, and managing all activities in the company. Identifies and recommends the short, medium, and long-term business strategies to Regional Sales Manager and Leadership team. Prepares and is accountable for the company‘s plans and budgets in coordination with Regional Sales Manager.

What You'll do:

  • Direct and control the activities and budget of all distributors.

  • Create mid- to long-range plans to carry out objectives established by the Regional Sales Manager; develops and calculates a budget to meet organizational goals; forecast future needs including human and material resources and capital expenditures; determine and establish organizational structure and supervisory relationships subject to Regional Sales Manager.

  • Define the business strategy oriented to ARDx development in assigned territory

  • Act as a pivotal role in creating and closing sales opportunities, by establishing relationship with KOLs, National Agencies, Distributors and other key stakeholders

  • Interact with senior/executive level management, outside regulatory agencies, government officials, customers, vendors, partners and/or suppliers

  • Build strategic internal and external partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.

  • Coordinate across functional areas, business units, and/or geographies in order to achieve company or area goals

Required qualifications and background:

  • At least 5 years’ industry experience with ideally 3-5 years of sales leadership experience.

  • Experience in medical devices sales or diagnostics sales preferred.

  • University degree in Business, Biological Science or related field.

  • Proficient in dealing with both primary and secondary customers at all levels.

  • Fluent in building / constructing compelling business cases.

  • Good knowledge of managing numerous stakeholders in sales cycles that exceeds 9 months.

  • Working knowledge and experience in medical equipment leasing and managed services.

  • Skilled and experienced negotiator.

  • Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm.

  • Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others.

  • Excellent organization, facilitator and presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English, native in Czech or Slovak, (Hungarian is an adventage).

  • Readiness to work in a field (approx.. 80% of time).
