Lockheed Martin Staff Software Engineer- Puerto Rico in Puerto Rico

This position is with the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations Air Vehicle Design, Release and Labs (AVDR&L) team. The AVDR&L team develops and operates software solutions that are used by our Aeronautics engineering design teams. This position is for an experienced Application Administrator supporting the 3DExperience platform for Aeronautics. The selected applicant will lead install, configure, manage, and otherwise support Aeronautics 3DExperience platforms in addition to other duties. Administrative duties for Production environments will take place during off-hours and weekends to avoid disruption to ongoing projects as required. This role is remote; however, occasional travel may be required to an LM site to support business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related fields (or equivalent)

• Experience with Windows PowerShell, Python, Bash, Unix Shell and/or similar scripting languages

• Familiarity with IT application engineering and operational support including system monitoring, user support, troubleshooting of internal and external dependencies, and fault isolation.

• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., Security+, CASP, CISSP) within 90 days of start date.

• Experience with administering Linux and Windows applications

• Experience with web server technology (Apache) and monitoring tools (Nagios)

• Experience with DevOps methodologies, tools, and languages (Cloud Services and Automations, Ansible, Terraform, YAML, GitHub/GitLab Workflows, Test Driven Development, etc.)

• Experience troubleshooting and proving resolution to issues that compromise system performance or access to an IT service.

• Excellent communication skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with administering PLM systems, particularly 3DExperience and ENOVIA

• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP)

• Experience with regular system improvements, such as upgrades based on evolving end-user and business requirements.

• Familiarity monitoring system health and identify anomalous network behavior, which may include security-sensitive activities such as unauthorized network access and data transfer.

• Experience with Java, C++

• Familiarity with Databases (Oracle, SQL)

• Familiarity with 3D CAD systems, particularly CATIA or 3DExperience Native Client

• Familiarity with license management (DSLS, FlexLM, etc.)

• Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Major Incident Management)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
