Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for managing the business cycle 3-year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization.

• Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization- mfg., R&D, engineering, supply, commissioning.

• Evaluate the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.

• Collaborate with organizational leadership on the development and implementation of insourcing operational processes based on long-term business growth strategy.

• Own the finance activities for Malaysia operations including close, reconciliation and reporting results to leadership.

• Collaborate with JV Controllership team to ensure and consistency of accounting processes, drive controllership awareness throughout the operating team, ensure financial compliance and uphold Company’s commitment to integrity.

• Develop relationship different stakeholders (Leadership, Operations, and other Finance functions) inside and outside the JV to proactively drive long-term growth initiatives.

• Facilitation and completion of statutory accounts, working with local Stat reporting team, to ensure compliance with company’s accounting policies.

• Responsible for preparation and submission of State required statistical reporting.

• Collaborate with Vernova and Baker Hughes Corporate teams, shared services supporting the JV and external auditors to ensure excellence of operational & processes including statutory and tax filing, audit processes and account reconciliations.

• Uses some judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations finance
