Robert Half is offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Purchase, New York. This role is based 100% in the office and will be instrumental in managing financial records and transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.

• Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is captured accurately.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting and analysis tasks.

• Execute month-end close procedures to finalize financial transactions for the period.

• Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the company's cash position.

• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Comprehensive knowledge in Bookkeeping

• Skilled in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
