Acosta Group Retail Sales Representative in Repentigny, Quebec
DESCRIPTION
This full-time position offers you the unique opportunity to leverage your retail experience more strategically by developing direct sales, merchandising and point of sale implementation. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for calling customers in the grocery, gas and convenience channel to communicate and execute sales and merchandising strategies, promotions and guidelines. In this position, you will be expected to achieve results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, providing product information, and ensuring product dominance anddistribution.
Your excellent communication and sales skills are complemented by your enthusiasm and superior presentation abilities. Highly organized and with excellent communication skills, you are a natural problem solver, good at sales and building strong relationships with customers.
Overview:
The incumbent primarily provides coverage of sales merchandising and special retail projects for a given territory by executing our client's priorities and objectives, as set by management, in-store to achieve superior in-store results in a given territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Hand-carried reports
Implementation of new articles
Maintain 100% distribution of existing items
Ensure compliance with racking guidelines and action plans
Price audits
Build displays and place point-of-sale equipment
Build relationships with store staff
Negotiate product placement
Communicate information about customers and sales promotions
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous retail experience in a territory is desired
Strong relationship and persuasive communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Computer literate and fluent in the use of digital technology (handheld, camera, etc.)
Regular access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, stand, bend and stretch daily.
Ability to drive for long periods of time
Ability to store product samples and shelving
High-speed Internet access
